We offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic tests including clinical biochemistry, molecular diagnostics (PCR, NGS), hematology & coagulation, histopathology & cytology, immunology, microbiology, and routine wellness panels. Our CAP-accredited lab processes over 150 test types.
You can call us at (213) 433-7707, use our online contact form, or visit any of our patient service centers. For home collection, we offer free pickup within the Greater Houston area. A trained phlebotomist will visit your preferred location at the scheduled time.
Most routine chemistry, hematology, and serology results are available within 24–48 hours. Molecular tests (PCR, NGS) typically take 2–5 days. Histopathology reports are issued within 72 hours after tissue processing. STAT requests are prioritized and expedited.
Yes, most diagnostic tests require a physician’s order. We accept orders from any licensed healthcare provider. For wellness screening, you can request a test through our partner physicians who will issue an order. Direct-to-consumer options are available for select preventive panels.
All patients receive secure access to our patient portal. You can view, download, and share your reports via email or WhatsApp. We also send SMS/email alerts when results are ready. For referring physicians, we provide a dedicated provider portal.
We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. We also offer self-pay rates and payment plans. Our billing team can verify your coverage before testing. Cash, credit cards, and health savings accounts (HSA) are accepted.
Blufrog Path Lab is CAP-accredited and CLIA-certified. We participate in external proficiency testing (CAP surveys) and maintain daily internal quality controls. Our instruments are calibrated using internationally traceable standards, ensuring result reliability and accuracy.
